Smitha and Ananth are the children of single famiy. Smitha is 16 year old. Ananth was younger than Smitha. Their home town is Gangapur. Ananth was suffering from cancer. Smitha’s family moved to Bombay for his treatment at the Cancer hospital in Bambay. In Bombay Ananth and his family stayed with Aunt Sushila in an apartment.
The boy was very ill and weak. Ananth’s mother said that he actually raised himself up without help with a catch grief throat. Familymembers did not voice their fears. They had come with high hopes that the doctors would be able to cure Anant but the doctors said that he had not many days to live, so take him home and give him the things he liked.
At the same time the Sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar was playing at Shanmukhananda Auditorium in Bambay. The news was read by Smitha and Ananth heard it.He epressed his wish to attend Pandit Ravishankar’s concert was the chance of his life time.
He wanted to go for the concert.The great wizard of music- Ustad Allah Rakha played Tabla with Pandit Ravi Shankar. Suddenly a daring thought came to her that was to ask music maestros to play for her brother in her house. Though the mustached man came as an obstacle between smitha and Ravishanker she was requesting Ravi Shankar to come to her house and play Sitar for Ananth .Pandith and Ustad accepted her request and performed for the boy and the boy was fulfilled her last wish and died peacefully.
