  1. List out the things where beauty can be seen during the day.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The Sunlight, the tree, the birds, growing corn, people working and dancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Poet Says beauty is heard in the night. Pi<\/strong>c<\/strong>k out any<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    two things of beauty from the poem that are seen at night.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Wind sighing, rain falling.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Read the first and second stanzas of the poem again.Note the following phrases. Corn growing, people<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    working of dancing, wind sighing, rain falling, a singer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    c<\/strong>hanting\u2026\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    These could be written as<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Corn that is growing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

     People who are working of dancing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Can you rewrite the other phrases like this? Why do you<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    think the poet uses the shorter phrases?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Wind that was sighing, rain that was falling, as singer who is chanting,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. The poet says <\/strong>\u201c<\/strong>Beauty is seen<\/strong>\u201d<\/strong> and <\/strong>\u201c<\/strong>Beauty is heard.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    List out the beautiful things you have seen or heard.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201c<\/strong>Beauty is seen<\/strong>\u201d<\/strong>– <\/strong>Flower, rainbow, forest, dancing peacock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201c<\/strong>Beauty is heard.\u201d- <\/strong>waterfall sound, birds singing, roaring waves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. The Poet says <\/strong>\u201c<\/strong>Beauty is in yourself.\u201d What things doesshe mention here? When does she want us to follow them?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
